When you are at your lowest, let Him carry you.

There is nothing in this world that you will ever do that is as important as making a decision to follow Christ.

There are eternal consequences for our choices here on earth.  But the good news is "GOD SO LOVED THIS WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON THAT NONE (not one, this means you) SHOULD PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE." - John 3:16

Jesus has already paid the price for your sins.  The only thing He asks of you is to accept His gift of forgiveness.  You simply ask, and He forgives.

If you would like to become a Christian, which means you ask Jesus to live within you and change your life , simply pray the following prayer to Him:

"Jesus, I am a sinner.   I believe that you died on a cross to save me and give me eternal life in Heaven.   Please forgive my sins and come into my heart and make me a new creation in You."

If you just prayed this prayer you ARE a new creation.  This doesn't mean you should have heard bells and whistles or the sound of angels singing but "IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST AND WILL FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS" -1 John 1:9.
You have confessed and now He is faithful.   Being a Christian won't make you perfect, just forgiven.   But you are changed, different, a new
creation.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!  - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.  "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

The Lord replied,  "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
